2nd Day of Camp
Hey campers!
I hope your first day of camp went well. It was a treat to see such a big turnout and see you all get so excited to be a part of this year’s camp. Each year we try to improve the camp by providing new and exciting learning tools so that you can maximize your efforts in learning. We’ve added the “Juwan Howard Book Club Blog.”
Hopefully you guys will have an opportunity to take advantage to learn how to use the blog and make posts about what books you are reading.
The last book I read was the Bible. Well, I’m actually still reading it! It’s always a good read.

charlie and the chocolate factory is a book ive read. i like the part where they were on the glass elevator and they flew through the roof.i liked the whole book
the book i read is called race to the rescue. i liked when all the animals helped with the zoo. some of the animals were locked i their cages and couldn’t get out.
the last book i read was the story of lebron james is a story about his life. One thing that i like is that he won the most vauble player award i was so happy!one thing i did not like is that he has never won a champonship.

I read plant life. Its about how plants grow my favorite flower is the sunflower. What I like about it is that plants provide food. What i don’t like is that it takes to long to grow.
The last book i have read was a chapter book called charlotsweb and i got the book the other day and i like the book because it had lots of entertainment and ilike it because the caracters had lots of jokes but at the end it was sad because the spider died afther she had her babys because she was sick.

The book I am writing about is called “The Sea Of Monsters”.The book was about half bloods.The thing I didn’t like about the book is that someone is sick.The thing I like about the book is at the end every thing was back to normal.

zare.b.the title:the never ending lane.one thing i like about this book is that it is sat like poetry stanza’s.and one thing i didn’t like about it was that the main charther was a half human half dog.and i didn’t get the plot that good so i was lost.but i got back on track.and i did like story of the book.but i will give a tip to the writer.one tip is don’t make the story about a person who get’s lost on a road.when thire is no human just a man dog or dog man i don’t know just make sure that the sat & the charthers complet the plot. c ya
today i read about a book that was geronimo stilton ” the curcuis” . it is very good i had read the whole entire book .and then after words i play my wii.
The last book I read was called deep, dark, and dangerous by mary hahn it’s about a girl named ali and she finds a photograph with her mother and aunty at this lake but she also see another girl in the photograh that she didn’t know so she asked her mother who the girl was in the water and and her mom said she doesn’t know but she were lying to her. The thing i didn’t like was how the mother would always lie to her daughter. The thing i did like was that they finally figured out who the girl in the water was.The book im reading now is called motown in didi.

I read a book called Junie B. Jones And Her Big Fat Mouth. I am still reading it, but I think it is a wonder book! So far the book was about a girl named Junie B. Jones who was always hard headed and curious about everything saw. Also in the book, it said that the letter B in her name stood for Beatress.
Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to finish reading the book after camp. Maybe I can even make a book about my life as well.
Maybe one day I can be successful just like you and be able to open up my own camp to inspire the next generation of kids.

The book I read was Hannah Montanna True Blue chapter 2.It was about two best friends doing alot of things together.They care for each other.I think the chapter was good. It was the best chapter in the book.
The last book i read was the morning earthquake,the book i am reading now is frindle.What i liked about it is that the boy was nice,But at the same time he was not a good listener.most likely 10% of his class didn’t like him,the said that he was annoying.and the story i read called the morning earthquake,that was about a girl and a boy,they both was going to the store to go buy grocery’s for their mother that was sick.so they was walking back and i earthquake came and the ground splited in half and the girl almost fell but her brother saved her so they hurried up and went home and they had to help their mother and then,she was not sick anymore.they all survived.

the last book i read was hatchet it was a great book and it was about a boy named brian. He was stuck in the woods for a long time and he used things in the woods to help him survive . Brian used things like tree bark to make him a shelter, he used twigs & bark to make a fire, he hid food and a skunk found it then sprayed him . Brian was attack by many animals except two .
Juwan, well it was this one book that I really like it was called mary kate and alshy otulen and it was about two twin sister that were detitves that solve misterys and the one Iread was about an missing hound then every where they went an hound was missing. It was an fun book I read it 6 times
Hi Juwan my name is Marionna. I have just read a book called “Chicken Soup For The Soul”. And the book was talking about relationships and what are things that happen in some relationships.I like this story because it will teach me many things in my near future.{and things later on in my life.} I have enjoyed the book/story/selection so well i might even read it again!

I read The Vampire’s Assistant it was a really good book. After I raed the book I watched the movie it was even better I ahad a great time it took me 3 days to read it. I liked every thing except the book being so very long. But other than that it was a good book. Fantastic It was a very very very good book. I had fun reading it. I read more books than that a book longer than that it was a autobiography it was very great and I had fun reading it. Reading is great,camp is great I am having a nice time reading is fantastic i love reading. The end have a great summer. It’s very fun to read.

Hi Juwan one recent book i judt read was goosebumps. It was about a couple of kids who found a mirror in an attic. Everytime they turn on the light they go invisible. once they started to do it for a while they started to feel funny. the boy found out that when they stayed in the mirror a loo0ng time they would be stuck in the mirror and their reflections will come out and things would be like they were on the other side of the mirror everything backwards but at the end they solve the problem

THE LAST BOOK I READ WAS ABOUT THE TITANTIC IT WAS THE MOST STORY EVER I ALMOST CRIED ON.THE STORY WAS ABOUT A SHIP THAT HIT AN ICEBERG NEXT THING YOU KNOW THE BOAT STARTED GOING DOWN INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN MANY PEOPLE WAS TRYING TO GO ON THE OTHER END THAT THE BOAT DIDN’T GO DOWN THEN SUDDENLY THE BOAT BROKE IN TWO SECTION AND PEOPLE STARTED GOING INTO THE WATER AND THE BOAT WAS SINKING AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIED.I WAS AFRAID FOR THOSE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY WAS IN THAT COLD WATER AND THIS WHY I RECOMMENDED THIS STORY.

the last book i read was the outsiders.what i liked about this book most was how it was so intense to see what was going to happen next it made me want to read it more.the best part in this book i liked was the brawl(fight)between the greasers and the socs.this book was also sad and it was filled with alot of drama.I think the movie was better i got to see it visually.the the book was still great to read.

the last book I read was called the giver it iz about worlds seperated by communities with different special rules. Such as a child can’t ride a bike until they a 8 yrs old. Also you get assigned to a certain job for the rest of your life. And if you break any of the rules you get directly sent to another community. Another thing is everyone’s birthday is on novemeber 1st and for every age there is a ceremony and at 12 you are asssigned to your job. This book ok but it was kinda boring. I was force to read it by my teacher but i got a good grade

The book was much more exciting, it had more fights and more detail.
